A catch-all mailbox receives emails sent to invalid email addresses under the very same domain. For instance, an email message sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been enabled for the latter. In this way, you can receive emails from colleagues or customers who may have sent a message to your email address with a typo or to an outdated one, which they may still have, but you have already deactivated. Only one single mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be set up for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some moment you may start receiving spam messages in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation means that the spam will not be received in a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Web Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all email mailbox with ease in case you’ve got a cloud web hosting plan with our company. The Email Manager in our custom-created Hepsia hosting Control Panel is fully featured, yet very easy to work with, and it will allow you to activate different options, including the catch-all one, with no more than several clicks. All the mailboxes that you’ve set up will be enumerated in alphabetical order in this section and to the right of each one you’ll notice a small "Catch-all" logo. Clicking it once will enable the feature, clicking on it once again will disable it. Since you can have just one such catch-all mailbox per domain name, our system will alert you if you already have another one with this feature enabled or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all address with no more than a click if you have a semi-dedicated hosting with our company and your emails are handled by our cloud platform. All the addresses that you set up using any domain name hosted in your semi-dedicated hosting account will be shown in the Hepsia Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Each of them will have a small-size "Catch-all" icon on its right-hand side, so all it will take to enable this feature will be to click on that icon. In the very same fashion you’ll be able to disable the feature, in case you no longer need it. Our system will notify you in case you’re attempting to activate a 2nd catch-all mailbox for a given domain or if there is activated email forwarding, but it’ll never disable or alter any feature automatically and without your permission.
